Ouidad has been the curl expert since 1984. At Curlz, I proudly and expertly execute Ouidad’s Carve & Slice Haircut for adults and teens, Rake-n-Shake Styling and 12 minute Deep Conditioning Treatments.
Keratin Treatments
I specialize in Keratin treatments and Japanese relaxers. I only use the best products from Brazilian Blowout to Cezanne and more.
Coloring and Tinting
Choosing the correct type of hair color for your needs depends on several factors. Thankfully, at Curlz you can leave all that to me. I offer partial to full highlights as well as Tint touch-ups, root to tip!
Haircuts
Hair trends come and go each season. You can count on Darla to be up to date on the latest and greatest in men's, women's and children's haircuts.
About Darla
Walnut Creek's Ouidad Expert
Darla has been working in the salon for 20 years with a passion to deliver excellent service to each of her clients. This passion has allowed her to stay progressive in her career to develop new skills and seek out paths of enthusiasm to keep her excited in the salon. This attitude has lead her to discover Ouidad, the Curly Hair Experts, where she became a certified stylist, learning how to master Ouidad's "carving and slicing" technique. Other areas of training include attending the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica where she learned precision and creative hair cutting skills. She has also had extensive training in advanced hair coloring through attending numerous classes acquiring the skills to tackle any color challenge.
